Instant Weight Loss With No Change In Lifestyle Or Eating Habits Whatsoever
Now that we have your attention, let's get serious about weight loss. The only way you are going to achieve instant weight loss with no change in lifestyle is to move to another country! That in itself would be a huge change in lifestyle anyway and should express the amount of change that may be necessary if you are serious about weight loss. If you plan to make such a move and expected the results to be instant, you would preferably move to a country where they think being large is a sign of being healthy, and people who lose weight are considered 'sick". Other than that, there is no simple, easy way to go about weight loss, other than following the two rules below:
1 Eat less.
2 Exercise more.
Diseases such as diabetes and the like excepted, the human body's normal function is to store extra energy in the form of fat or muscle. Anyone who wants to enjoy weight loss may therefore need to consult a doctor, to make sure that the accompanying changes in diet and lifestyle do not result in a loss of muscle tissue or fluids.
Some people achieve weight loss by getting their stomach stapled. It seems to work for some, as they lose a lot of weight, look marvelous, and even get married a few years later! Still, think twice about the possibility of having staples in your insides that could come loose if you eat too much. Weight loss is not always that important!
Jenny Craig has certainly done well by charging people money to tell them how to lose weight. "Lose 20 pounds for $20," the website champions. But glowing testimonials aside, do these things really help people with weight loss? I suppose for people who have a tough time disciplining themselves to stop eating when they're full, they can have a positive effect. The idea of a pill that you can take to magically achieve whatever amount of weight loss you want is certainly appealing. But then there's the issue of side effects: "severe liver damage," "urgent need to go to the bathroom," and so on. The reality is, either the drug is so gentle that it's debatable it even has any effect on a person's appetite or you're playing Russian roulette by trying weight loss through medication.
Some people just think they need drastic weight loss, but they're actually well within a healthy weight for their height. The best way to figure out where you are is using the BMI (Body Mass Index). This can be done most easily online by just googling BMI and clicking any of the BMI calculator websites that come up under weigh loss. Enter your weight and height. Anything between around 18 to 25 is considered healthy and you don't need weight loss.
So, how can a person eat less or exercise more in order to achieve weight loss? Here are some things to try:
1 When you have a meal, stop eating for at least five minutes when you are full. Chances are, after that you won't feel the craving for another helping so strongly and this will help with weight loss.
2 Drink lots of liquid (water is best) with your meals, to help you feel fuller and achieve better weight loss.
3 Keep fresh fruits or vegetables on hand. If you get hungry between meals, have an apple or a carrot, rather than junk food. It will make you fuller faster, and be better for you as you move ahead on your weight loss program.
4 To make it worth your time and exercise at least 20 minutes a day for 4 days a week to achieve excellent weight loss results.
Good luck with your weight loss quest!
